Cassius began his professional career in accounting, tax and finance working for Rollins Inc., Arby's Inc., McKinsey & Co., and Resource Global Professionals. Cassius began his career in real estate development as owner’s representative and co-developer on a senior housing 4% bond transaction which allowed him to gain invaluable experience in the LIHTC and affordable housing market. Cassius has taken projects from conception to certificate of occupancy in which he was intimately involved in all aspects of the development process which includes but not limited to; zoning, permitting, design, debt/equity financing, construction and asset management. Cassius is also CFO of Senior Day Out, a local non profit that serves the needs of seniors across the State of Georgia and minority owner in Community Construction Group in Roswell, GA which specializes in large scale rehabilitation projects.
Mr. Hubbard brings over 20 years of professional experience to Five Points Development. He has consulted to clients of all sizes on finance, investments, strategic planning, and operations for the entirety of his professional career. He began his career with a management consulting firm where he worked on management consulting projects for state and local governments and institutions of higher education. He then spent several years working in the public sector for Washtenaw County Government in Ann Arbor, MI where he was responsible for the administration of the County’s multiple pension portfolios, as well as budget and strategic planning for a number of County departments. Later, he would join Gray & Company Global Investment Solutions as a Senior Consultant and COO, and later become its CEO. During his tenure at Gray, he consulted on a vast number of investments including multiple alternative and private investment vehicles.
Mr. Hubbard has served in numerous leadership capacities, including as a member of the Endowment Consulting Group for Furman University, and as a member of the Administrative Board at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. He received an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a B.S. from Furman University.
